I'm using a USB headset that I bought last year sometime. Great bit of kit, really clear and no faffing.

My headset is the cheapest piece of tat you've ever seen, but it works really well... as long as I don't breathe on it or move the wires about too much.

Thinking about it, I need to pick someone up from Milton Keynes train station tomorrow so I'll leave myself enough time to get down to Maplins.

I found a new (old) mic the other night in a box of bits so I'll give it a whirl. Saves having to have the webcam out on the desk as it's only used for the mic.

And it will probably easier to hear you with a proper mike. Those webcam ones are echoey and quiet.
