Annoyingly despite all the excitement of having Fallout 3 again, I don't appear to have any time to play it today Was out all day and now I'm off out again in a bit with only about 20mins spare to play it, nooooooo.
And I'm working a fair bit of tomorrow too, boo.

I'd recommend picking it up cheap. Whilst Fallout 3 is the better game, Fable 2 is quite funny and will definitely fill the gap between now and the next DLC, Broken Steel, quite well.

Fable 2 is brilliant And despite my recent conversion to enjoying Fallout 3, I'm still the only person on the forum (and probably in the world ) who thinks Fable 2 > Fallout 3

While Fable 2 is brilliant, Fallout imo is still a better experience long term wise. Haly only likes it cos there's a doggie in it!

Nope. I do too

I love Fallout but the unrelenting bleakness eventually becomes a little waring.

If I was pushed I'd also add: Oblivion > Fable 2 > Fallout 3 !!

I started back on Fallout this weekend, first completing Operation: Anchorage, then starting a new game. It's amazing that after 80 hours or so that I'm still finding things I never saw the first time through (this time a house in Springvale with a junkie ex-hooker in it). It really is an exceptional game with a huge scope. I'm playing through it as a good character this time as well so I'm hearing all new dialogue which is helping it feel fresh again.
