Watching Eddie Jordan this morning reminded me of Bill Oddie - where was Kate Humble?

Kinetic Energy Reclamation System, KERS. Not all teams bothered but will have to for next year. Cars have either a flywheel or a battery in them. Whenever they brake some of the energy is transferred into the storage, up to a maximum of 60kw, ready to give them a boost at the touch of a button later on. Tacticly it could be very interesting, aidin overtaking, blocking and so on, but if used at the wrong time could lead to disastrous loss of traction.

Tricky bit is it weighs maybe 70-80lb and the weight limit hasn't increased for the cars, so weight has to be shaved off elsewhere!

Awesome race, so refreshing seeing different names up at the top.

Brawn have just announced that they are shedding about 35% of their workforce

Wheeeeee, just finished watching it (stupid work). Fantastic result. The sun seemed really bad tho - not sure if it was worse seeing as the camera was higher up, but coming through the bit with the trees you could barely see what was coming up.
Still, great race, and I was more impressed with the commentary today than last time. Roll on Malaysia!

Sad but they probably came very close to not being there, and so even with all the sponsorship and todays good performance they might have to for financial reasons.

I was up early to watch this (why did the clocks have to go forward this weekend!). Was definitely worth it, really pleased with the result. Nice to see the tables being turned and should make for a very interesting season.

For those who've missed it, the 2009 rule changes:
