^^ that reminds me. Amazon Women on the Moon.
One of the best, yet worst movies of all time.

They Live. It stars "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and is about a secret alien invasion where the aliens look like humans, unless, you happen to wear a pair of "Special Sunglasses". Never laughed so much in my entire life. |

Irreversible - French film starring Monica Belluci, shown backwards. It's very dark, very disturbing, and features a long and graphic rape scene. Not to be watched if you're easily offended, but gripping at the same time.

I think its A Fistful of Dollars (but it might be Once Upon a Time in the West) There's loads of Hong Kong films that I like and few people have seen: Mr Vampire Tokyo Raiders 2002 Stormriders Project A I also like to pimp The Dish to anyone who will listen.

It is.
I think it's because when I was growing up I spent a lot of school holidays at my grandmas and she had piles of VHS cassettes with silent comedies on them which I watched over and over. Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Laurel and Hardy. Hong Kong cinema has the same tendancy to simplify and overplay the emotions on screen and there's obviously a similarity in the physical performances. Quote:
Project A is one of Jackie's best I reckon and a good example of where Hong Kong cinema can be quite similar to the old silent comedies.
