Mine cost around £65 if I remember rightly, is a Philips wake-up light clock.
In fact, it's this one

I just knew mine wasn't in the +££ 100's of pounds! Might be able to get quidco too if you buy from somewhere that does it.

I still can't justify £60 though, why can't they take existing tech and stick a big light on it instead of reinventing the wheel? My alarm clock does EVERYTHING and was £20, it just needs a big light and i don't want to pay through my ass for it, i can't afford it!

I tried this last night and it is pretty interesting to see how you sleep. It says that I was in a deep sleep till 3 and then I woke up 4 times before I needed to wake up. Which is what I always seem to do, sleep for a good while then have a restless sleep where I wake up, turn over and go back to sleep Although I woke up before the alarm so I didn't see how I felt with it waking me up

I've got a memory foam topper on my mattress (and a feather topper on top of that). I have the same problem but found that if I put the iPhone in the recommended position, and close to my pillow, it seems to work well enough.
I nearly fell asleep at work at 2PM today. Got some fresh air and a second wind. Clearly need to do something about my sleep patterns. I don't trust myself with SAD lights. I'd probably knock it over. |

I can honestly say I've never woken up feeling refreshed and raring to go I've seen on TV programs people saying this and thought it was just TV talk, now I know I'm wrong. It would be nice to not feel tired all the time

I find snoozing after the alarm goes off makes things worse. That's one notable benefit of this alarm - I put the iPhone under the sheet (so I can't knock it off the bed). That makes getting at the 'off' button somewhat more challenging in the morning. The other options involve hitting it (expensive) or letting the battery run flat (boring).
