Saw this the other day. She turned clockwise for me then, and she's turning clockwise for me now. With a bit of concentration, I can get her to swap directions though

I can see both, mostly clockwise and was all clockwise until I started to concentrate and now I can make her change at will

being very geeky I downloaded the image and looked at it in an image editor. Its just 34 frames long, defining a single rotation of the woman. No tricks.
There are enough details to trick your brain into believing its a 3 dimensional object rotating, but not enough to clearly define which way she's rotating. Your brain fills in the gaps and decides
