As for Russell Brand. I was cracking up at him on TV the other night when he did his technology show thing (whatever it was called). He's a bit will and over the top (which I'd normally dislike) but there's just something I find funny about him, can't quite put my finger on it.

I find it weird that you consider this to even be an argument. All I've been trying to do is get on the same page as you. I can't remember whether you said you've actually seen his standup, but that was the point of this thread. I didn't used to like him before I saw his standup and now I think he's pretty damn funny. From my point of view, it's the people who've come in without having seen it to pass judgement, just to say it's **** whilst I'm trying to recommend some standup comedy that I enjoyed, that have been out of order. well, **** it. If I see anything I enjoy in the future, you can be damn sure that I'm not even going to bother trying to recommend it to you lot, because it'll make no difference, obviously.

Just to add further to this, whilst we never try to dictate what can or can't be said here, I would like to think we can ALL cut each other some slack at times. Maybe Paula was in a bad mood at the time and took Jasper's comments too personally, maybe Jasper was too quick to dive in and pick up on things too literally. I don't know.

All I'm saying is that if a discussion starts to go wayward, let's try and keep things pleasant. There's nothing wrong with disagreeing with each other, but we can still do it nicely.
