I'd love to have full fat all the time .. it's soo yummy but to be good I have semi skimmed.

Skimmed milk is just pointless .. may as well have water

You see for me soya milk tastes horrible and it makes tea/coffee taste really nutty and unpleasant. however my sis has to have it as she's lactose intolerant, I made the accidental mistake of putting it in my tea - gaughghgaah

Have any of you been to a dairy farm and had fresh unpasteurised milk? It is absolutely wonderful! Very strong smell/taste some people say there's a slight bovine taste to it, but that's not surprising really. Glorious - though didn't try it warm straight out of the cow, I should have though.

I know something WORSE than the evil Skimmed Rd Milk..... UHT!!!

I have an 'emergency' carton of it in the cupboard, but one of my friends has it all the time... its gross..! May as well not bother.... only have it in dire emergencys - i.e on a train journey, where I have about 4 sachets to make it normal semi skimmed consistency.

URGH!!!

My parents used to feed us that when we were younger - on our crumble too...I don't like it now though

Condensed milk for banoffee pie though = winner!

This works for me. 5 pints a week, usually drunk from the bottle (saves washing up ).

Soya sounds wrong (never tried it though). UHT *is* wrong, but seems to be the done thing on the continent (in Europe at least, fresh milk the way we have it is mostly a Brit thing - or so I've heard).

Semi for me, by preference. I don't get on with Soya it has an odd after taste I'm not keen on. I can really tell the difference in a cuppa.

Made pancakes on Saturday using soya milk as Kari is slightly lactose intolerant. Works quite well from a batter perspective, just as well as milk, but it left a very strange after taste. Very weird. Even Kari thought the after taste was a little strange.
