I doubt it'll be spin-off, but I expect we'll be seeing a lot more of her.

Looks quite tasty but wasn't too keen on her storyline. hopefully she will "grow up" in later episodes.

Indeed, and took lessonms with her 6 year old son's Karate teacher so she didn't look completely stupid when it came to fighting

I'm just watching the Dalek episode from the Chris Ecclestone series and the scene where he is faced with the Dalek that's all chained up and powerless is absolutely fantastic. That single scene blows anything that David Tennant has done completely away, he was so much better.
I wish Ecclestone had done more than one series
