I've often tried this but I keep giving myself the cold shoulder and saying I have a headache!

I think that's what my brain does too. Multitasking ftw
I often find I play FPS games better if I'm stressed or worrying about something. I think I just go into autopilot so end up quite instinctive in the end

I'll have a cry or talk to the ratties. If I'm feeling really bad I'll curl up and sleep.

I bottle it up and wear a fake smile. In my family, being open about these things is a sign of weakness.

Throw myself into work. There's nothing like chatting with other people and hearing their problems and worries to put mine into perspective.

I become a hermit and withdraw from all of my friends. Or try to talk about it and then brush it off with an 'ah it'll all be FINE!'. It's amazing how used to being unhappy you can become. I also find I avoid doing the things that I know will make me feel better, like going to the gym or eating properly. Basically I seem to do as much as possible to ensure I remain bloody miserable.

From my experience, if chicks are unhappy about things, they tend to storm into the house in a big huff and sigh very loudly. When you enquire "Anything the matter?" you get "NO!" as a reply. You then carry on playing xbox for 5 mins before you get another massive sigh followed by them storming off to the bedroom and slamming the door.
Still, crappy 14" terrestial TV in there compared to a 42" HD plasma with Sky/Xbox attached in the front room - Who ends up the winner there? |
