I lived at school. Ergo even being dead wasn't a good enough excuse.
I did end up in hospital once and in the school's medical centre a couple of times though - that's the closest I got to not being at school. |

Aggressive is good or so I heard. The only time I ever had off school was for things like shattering a leg in a maul and breaking an eye sicket fighting
Oh and having a 25K weight dropped on my toes. Funny story about that actually, my mum bless her, worked at the hospital, so didn't want her colleagues to see me all dirty from playing rugby (remember I had a shattered leg) so made me have a shower and picked out some clothes for me to wear (shirt and tie naturally) before I was taken (an hour later) to have an X-ray. I can laugh about it now, but I could easily have ended up with the shattered bone piercing through a artery. Thinking about it, the school were pretty useless. I should have gone to hospital in an ambulance instead of having my mum rung to come and collect me
