I think the music creator is a bad idea. Firstly no vocal tracks is a big mistake. Secondly who cares?

I don't want to spend hours recreating a song. I just wanna rock !

It's the same thing with this 'create-a-x' features in games, people go 'ooh, yeah', use it for 5 minutes then never use it again - the only one that broke this trend is Forza 2. This is also my biggest worry over LBP on the Playstation 3.

I see the create-a-track feature as nearly pointless.

Just got this from Gameplay regarding Fable 2:
Quote:
Microsoft have just brought to our attention a problem with their supply chain for the Limited Edition of Fable II.

They have informed us that the figurine and the fate cards intended to ship with the game will not be available market wide - naturally we are extremely frustrated by this.

The Limited Edition will still feature a bonus disk with the Lionhead developer diaries, concept art, behind the scenes making of video footage, and music from the soundtrack. In addition, it will feature bonus in-game content.

Due to the alterations to the content, we've adjusted the price of the Limited Edition down to £39.99, bringing it inline with the standard version. We hope this does, in some way, lessen your disappointment.
Anyone had similar from other places? I'm not sure if they mean other retailers are getting the figurine and fate cards, or if no one is.

Edit: looks like everywhere's pulled their limited editions anyhow So I'm stuck with gameplay's.

I've got Fifa 09 on pre-order as well as Fallout 3. Will also be getting COD5 for the pc mainly for my dad as he loves the cod series. Wasn't too keen on the first fable for some reason, but may pick it up a bit later.

I got the first fable for something like a fiver but didn't really explore everything I could and just went through the game playing the main story but the more I read about Fable 2 the more I'm going to concentrate on making sure everything is done.

It'll also be good because I can pick it up and play it in bits like I'm doing with GTAIV.
