I'd do it, but it would have to be an awful lot of money, enough that I could spend the interest willy-nilly without care in the world.

Money cannot buy you love though, and I think if I found the "one" then I'd probably have a different outlook / feel a bit worse.

I have no shame in letting it be known that for the amount of money described above, there is almost nothing that I wouldn't do in the right circumstances.

Wouldn't do it with or without partners consent. Money just doesn't mean that much to me. I never get anything on credit (besides the mortgage) as working for it means I appreciate what I have more.
