Phew, glad I'm just having breakfast or I'd be making myself a sandwich. So many lovely flavours.
At the moment, I always go for Egg & Watercress on wholemeal bread, but I have different fads. I also like: avocado & bacon, egg & bacon, chicken & stuffing, brie & bacon toastie, roast beef & horseradish etc. all on nice crusty bread. At home, I usually make ham, cheese, olive, sundried tomato and basil toasties on my Bretville. Mmmm!!

Brie and bacon is probably my favourite but I'm very partial to a salt beef on rye from Katz Deli when I'm in NYC.

I love Brevilles and I'm sure they could be "massive" again (do they still say "massive"?). They need to get rid of those bloody awful panini machines and get back to good old British basics

I call it a stevie special... seriously...
For breakfast White muffin, toasted lightly and on one side a thin slice of mexican chilli cheese melted. Add 2 slices of thick cut smoked bacon and a poached egg (yoke still very runny). Add a smidgen of ketchup and a dash of tobasco. Heaven. |

That sounds rather horrid to be fair.
I've not had Lemon Curd in years though. I'm tempted to make some of the sandwiches in this thread though - I would LOVE to be proven wrong. |
