Your kitchen looks absolutely fab. I always worry that dark units will make a small kitchen look smaller, but they don't at all in that one. I guess it's a good balance of light walls/floor and the window. Looks really good!
That table is gorgeous too. Perfect size for the room and a huge bonus that you can open it out. Really worth all the wait wasn't it. I know you've got lots more little things to do, but compared to when I saw it at last year's Essex meet, it's just a completely different downstairs.

I really wanted the dark wood kitchen but I was scared of it shrinking the room but I really think we've pulled it off. The worktop has played a big part in that .. I bloody love my worktop |

You're right Sinead, a wooden worktop (which I think was you original plan?) might have made it look smaller. The very light worktop just draws it out again.

We were going to get a white shaker kitchen with a solid wood worktop. Bloody glad we didn't because this one is sooooo much nicer
