You have 13gb not including profiles, saves, pictures, music, movies and demos.

No, I believe it's 8gb for game data. I remember reading something saying games don't use a full DVD9 on Xbox360.

I always kept ~11GB free on my 20GB, you just have to be good with your demo housekeeping

I only 2 demos left and they average just over a gig from what I can see.

I've got 7gb free but bound to be stuff I can clear. Not sure what's taking up room now actually as I haven't got any demos on there at the moment.

If you wait on the categories screen (the screen just after you select the hard drive, Games, Profiles, Demos etc), it will show you the usage of each one
