It sounds like a weird one but being rejected in a positive way by a website I really respect.

Pitched a feature idea to a major games website a few weeks ago. Been told by the editor that their freelance budget is tight at the moment and they haven't got any openings at the moment BUT also been told that they really liked my work and to definitely pitch again in the future

Really boosted my confidence to hear that

When your little (although he isn't very little) brother does a dance in the door frame and bangs his head on the top of the frame! Lol serves him right for being so blooming tall!!

The two people who have continually been supportive on any of my fb posts about driving ever since my first lesson.

I have been overwhelmed by the support of everyone over the last 6 months and ESP on my "passed" status.

Quite a few today,

Having a butchers and a greengrocers a few doors away from my house

tonight they have supplied superb steak and delicious strawberries

My little cat, she is such a cutie pie. She brings a smile to my face as soon as I see her running towards me when she can see I am home, and her crazy little habits.

And a quiet front so far in Birmingham

Wooo Hooo. Hopefully that is the end to it! Thank you to the police, they have arrested people straight away today before anything could happen

A long one!

In February this year I went on a megahunt to find 3 x small dresses for bridesmaid dresses for my friend's wedding in November.... I literally went to 8 Country Casual (CC) stores and outlets around the south east to track them down....Chichester, Eastbourne, Bromley, Bluewater, Regent St, Lakeside..... then the same again when we realised that they actually had matching bags as well....

ANYWAY since then one of the bridesmaids has fallen out with the bride and there is a vacant spot so the Bride asked the Groom's neice... 2 days later she realises that the small probably wouldn't fit her!!! She's on the phone to me stressing about it before getting on her plane to Cyprus.

Anyway I told her to chill and relax on her hols and I will phone round and see what we can do... no worries about stressing about finding a new dress until we 100% know that we can't get one from CC.

She said that she had already got a similar one shoulder dress and I was like... er it might look like we are trying to match it and failing... go on hols and leave it with me and I will try to call all the stores etc...

She emailed me the next morning to say that she had phoned head office and they said that there was one in their Bromley office but when she phoned Bromley it was not there

Anyway so I sent a pleading message to Head Office and today got a VM at work to say that they have one

I paid for it and its on its way! Woo hoo!!
