Does anyone have the original Skate? I know you and Pete were talking about it Davey and skateboarding games are ones I've never gotten into but would like to have a crack.

Good spot Daz
Don't have the original any more otherwise you'd be welcome to it. Well worth getting hold of it if you can.

Oof. Glad I've got a big HDD. Not that I'm going to download this one as it's not a genre that particularly interests me.
If anyone still has a copy of Test Drive Unlimited they don't want, I do. Being so old most people don't stock it (though I did find one option). |

Mark, do you have a CEX near you? If anywhere will stock it, it will either be there or a Gamestation most likely

Haven't found one yet. Game had it preowned for £19.99 but I'm sure I can beat their price. Would have taken it though if I'd found something else I liked in their 2 for £30 offer. Might wander down Currys tomorrow who had a bargain bin last time I was in, but I wouldn't expect to see it there tbh.
PS - 12 month Live subs and 4200 points both £29.99 at Zavvi if anyone is in need (they're not in the 20% off sale, sadly). I see other shops have caught on and are offering similar deals at least on the points though. Last edited by Mark; 10-01-2009 at 23:19. |

Anyone played the Skate 2 demo yet? Spent a bit of time playing it this weekend and I really like it. It's just like the original with a few new tweaks, such as the ability to get off your board, and the ability to move objects around to create your own lines and tricks. Still takes the same amount of skill to perform high scoring lines which is good as I was hoping they didn't make it easier, as it made the game more rewarding when you did manage to pull off something awesome.
