Cool, thanks for the info
Yeah we're getting him one of those extending leads He can't go out for walks yet till his second lot of vaccinations but be handy for when he goes in the garden at that age and it'll get him used to it for when he can go for walks

Do you get any Rats in your garden at the mo ???
Make sure you check the garden out properly before letting him out there, If any doubt then block off a Paved area for his first few weeks out & about. underneath sheds are a major hiding place for rats & Charlie cannot be any wher near them until times right. You'll have to be especially careful with him & rats & holes as he will have an inbuilt instinct to go after them. Long lead for the win even if only in the garden |

No rats at all Or at least none that I've ever seen.
We're only going to let him out at first on a long leash, mainly to go to the loo The garden is huuuuuuge and has hedges everywhere so a) it might intimidate him b) you probably could lose a puppy in it! and c) we need to dog proof the hedges with chicken wire in place

Who's Charlie Norris?
Although strangely, Harry the cat's full name is Harry Norris But that's from a book my Dad liked, Mr Norris Changes Trains. Charlie's not named after anyone, just sounded a good name

Awwwwww! He's sooooooo cute!
If I had the money and the time to spare for training a puppy, I'd be all like 'Tell them I'm on my way and they need to do a home visit in Lincoln!!!' LOL. Oh, and I'd call her Lola.

But she's not a showgirl, with yellow feathers in her hair and a dress right down to there.
She can't meringue, or do the cha-cha. She's only a puppy! Disclaimer: I'm ill.
