Hehe been watching the Dead Rising footage on YouTube, I want that game so bad!
Should get my freebie Core system through in the next few weeks from my phone contract, first stop hard drive, another controller and a couple of games I think!

I assume they've introduced yet another proprietory connector rather than just using USB/FW/eSATA then?

That does it - Sony, you can kiss my arse. I'm F***ing fed up waiting for this damned thing to release.
Where's a good place to buy a 360 and which games are good on it (mostly prefer FPS but will have a go at RPGs - no driving games please )? Stan

Gameplay are very good for games and consoles, excellent delivery times and good prices. The games I recommend for you are Oblivion (FPS+RPG), Call of Duty 2 (FPS), Perfect Dark (FPS), Dead Rising (Zombie splatterfest), and Saints Row (GTA style game that betters it in several areas). All will keep you busy for some time

Enchanted Arms looks a promising replacement for Final Fantasy

I just worked out what my gross pay will be this month (I get my new salary, 2 months of it back dated and my quarterly bonus) so come pay day I'll be a 360 owner.

I have the annoyance (as helped by my helpful Mum pointing it out) that I know if I'd just gone fulltime at work instead of moved, I could afford all this. Ah well.

Thats one very big reason why I didn't go to Uni, absolutely no call for it unless you're looking to get into programming or a very specialised area of computing. Even then with programming if you've got a good portfolio you can often get a job in the field. When I compare my financial status to those of my mates who've gone to uni and essentially just come out and done support work, I'm the best off, with better prospects. Even if you ignore the specific field of IT, I've been of a skillset and experience level capable of earning more than friends (am now on more than most of my IT graduate friends, and I'm underpaid compared to typical sector wages.)
