Aw man. I am SO scared. I have been excited but now I am scared.

Starting the gym tomorrow.

I know I am horrendously unfit. I really do get out of breath so so so quickly.

Looking forward to getting fitter though. I remember being fitter last year and was bounding around so much more.

Don't think I will be posting what work out I will be doing though as looking through you guys you all are doing amazingly. I doubt I would be able to touch on your routines!

*eak*

Get in, just managed a 140kg bench, albeit a bit shakey and took me a few attempts, but it was up completely unaided and down nice and slow and controlled. \o/

Still stuck on 190kg deadlifts, but I blame the 5x 6x 150kg squats I did on Thursday

I am about to start the gym up again after a years break due to work then a knee injury, so will start off slow especially for the cardio stuff involving my legs. The weights side i am not too worried about again will avoid legs stuff till i feel the cardio work on legs has helped out.

So can't really post planned workout until i can see what my knee allows me to do at this stage of its recovery. Whatever i do i know i will be in pain after it

Tonights session due to my hamstring bein gay consisted totally of medicine ball exercises. 4 sets of 15 reps, no breaks. All excercises done with a 6kg ball & some with a willing training partner.

Overhead throws
Chest Passes(standing)
Chest Pushes(lying down, partner drops the ball)
Heel Flicks
Kick Backs

My arms, ACHE

I had a session with my PT last Thursday and concentrated on my arms .. I couldn't use them for 3 days afterwards

I hit 40kgs on my squats for 2 sets of 20 last night \o/

I'm also starting to struggle to get the bar on my shoulders for my lunges, I might have to lunge in the squat rack :/

It's a shoulder and back day today.

HC2PPs today.
SLDLs
BORs
Shrugs
Arnies
Lateral raises
Some other shoulder exercises - I'll work it out later.

That should do me. I'm still on a heavy shift at the moment, light next week. Probably bringing the BORs up to 110kg but I'll see how it feels.

I love HC2PPs - they are HARDCORE though. Raaaaaar. Man I'm loving the gym at the moment.

Sinead - 40kg squats?! That's nearly your bodyweight isn't it?! Seriously though that's a huge amount of weight for your size - I is well impressed innit! We're so going to have to have a show down
