I adore Christmas and all the merry smiley cheesey jolly associations that come with it!
... I just wish that they could perhaps hold back until early/mid november before it all starts kicking off! The garden centres near me begin selling off last years excess christmas stock in AUGUST ... which I find utterly ridiculous. I'm a great fan of all things festive but stretching it out across such a time period is like spreading a knob of butter *sniggers* across an 5 foot length *sniggers!!* of bread = you lose the flavour!!!

I've been lucky all of her christmases so far, at this time of year some benefit has been messed up and stopped, and paid in bulk at the end of november. Yeah it means that money has been tight at this time of year, but it's an easy way to save. Here's my christmas list for this year..... Wii fit Money towards getting the garden turfed My Mother not having a nervous breakdown like she normally does on christmas day.

I just bought my dads xmas present today!
I was in makro and saw 3kg boxes of lions midget gems for £9! and last time i bought him a box they were off ebay and cost me £27, so i thought i'd get them whilst i saw them there
