I'm using a non-official VGA cable. Not noticed any problems but I have heard it affects the colour slightly. But I still think it looks decent.

Unofficial here, do you want some photos taken so you can compare?? It's not the highest res monitor but might help. Infact you could see if Jen can do the same and you can compare WS and non-WS examples

Na it's alright Leo, the only fair comparison I could give is testing it on my TV, which it looks like I'm going to do anyway

Just gotta decide if it's worth forking out the extra for an official cable.

I've seen seen it myself, but a mate of mine bought a Madcatz (I think) VGA cable for his 360 and got pretty bad banding and washed out colours using it. He switched to an official cable and all was good.

I haven't noticed any banding or washed out colours on my cable as all the games I've played look great. If you want the person I bought mine off, let me know and i'll send the name over.
