I phoned Mrs. Feek yesterday afternoon at about 16:00 and she said she'd had to put down the guitar to answer the phone.
When I got home, a tad after 19:00, she was strumming. I asked if she'd been playing it since I spoke to her earlier, she flushed and said "No". The kids told me differently

Yay, I hit five stars on a Medium song! I know it's not much compared to what you guys are doing but I'm really quite pleased with that.
"Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo" – Rick Derringer Love playing that, lots of ups and downs and finger twitching stuff

Nice one Feek! Getting 5 stars on medium isn't easy when you're fairly new to the game, so congrats The medium career does get a fait bit harder as you go on, but if you're getting 5 stars early on you should be able to complete it with no bother

I've got 5 stars on all easy and have worked my way through all the medium ones now. Found hard a bit too tough so am working on getting better at medium and then will move on to hard again

The addition of the extra button really threw me. I didn't know whether to use my little finger or move my hand. If you want to try expert at some point, it's definitely better if you try to use your little finger more, as you simply can't get through expert without it.

What's the score with unlocking songs? I had SCOM as an Encore (bloody difficult that was) but I don't think that's an actual unlock?

Nay, the unlock songs (for the achievements anyway) are the ones you buy in the store
The transition from medium to hard was definitely the biggest learning curve in the game for me. The pace is much faster, you have to learn to move your hand, and the chord combinations get a bit crazier. It's great when it all falls into place though, you start nailing everything and it feels awesome

Well I picked it up again this evening and I've now only got Free Bird to play to complete all the songs on medium. The last couple of songs were really difficult for me and I had a real problem getting any kind of streak on them but I muddled through!
I failed Free Bird though at 68% and I seemed to have been playing it for ages just to get that far. Gave up for tonight, my fingers were sore after nearly three hours of playing, time just goes by so fast on this game. I'm having problems typing as my fingers aren't hitting the right keys and I've had to correct myself so many times, it's untrue! Very addictive game. I've not played anything else since I got it.
