I've just returned from a burlesque photo shoot. It was really fun. Nothing like an afternoon with lovely ladies in corsets.

They keep doing those kind of parties and club nights down here and I so want to go, its just not the kinda thing you turn up to, you generally need to be invited - I will go though...one day...

I'm getting ready for my mini break away (packing and worrying about the boys etc) We don't have any plans for the Tuesday or Wednesday evenings so if anyone has suggestions feel free to post here

Well I suppose I can't say too much as I spent most of the weekend watching a 2 and a half men marathon on Paramount.
But then again I had a bad cold so my taste in TV was non existent because of that

Been doing some gardening today planting my new corkscrew hazel and putting up wires on the fences to train my climbers up. Feel like I've acomplished quite a lot this morning. It's bloody cold/windy outside though so I've come in to thaw out for a bit

Just waiting for my bread to finish baking, then I can have my dinner

This weekend I took Kari out to see "Step Up 2: The Streets" on Friday night which wasn't as bad as I was expecting (cheesy in places, but better than the first, IMO.)
Saturday was a bit of a chill out day, neither of us really felt all that much like doing anything so we just lazed around, watched Tomorrow Never Dies, cooked Fajitas and then watched The Day After Tomorrow. Too many films with "tomorrow"in the title.. Kari discovered the greatness that is toasted Hot Cross Buns.. by stealing half of mine. Typical woman
She also got to run around in the snow. Its only the third time in her life she's ever been in it and she was ecstatic.. almost like a 4 year old
Sunday we went to my old church in the morning, caught up with folks I've not seen in ages, and then after lunch headed down to seaford for a blow along the sea front. Lovely and refreshing, it was positively blowing a gale! Showed Kari how to skim pebbles. The beach near her is entirely sandy so she's never been introduced to pebble skimming before, headed back and played a few board games in the evening. Monday was off to my sisters in Welwyn Garden City, to meet up with her and my Aunt. Great to see them and spend time with both again.. Then for me it was a quick hop to the station and down to London whilst my parents went home and took Kari back to Holmsted.

I managed to keep her still for just long enough to take a photograph:
