I'm highly likely to get a 360 now, but I want a laptop first. On the subject though, what's the most cost effective way of getting Live membership at the moment? I know there are a couple of cheap (~£15) games that come bundled with 12 months.

There were but you'd need to open an XBOX account and then port it over to the 360 account.

Not really, I found porting over my Live details to be quite simple. Of course, it all depends on you having access to an Xbox to register your details in the first place.

Thanks Garp, you're very inspriing and given me great confidence for my future

I can't remember, but could you register 2 x-box accounts on 1 x-box? If so, you can do it on mine if you want Daz.

All will keep you busy for some time
Thanks Davey, I'll give that some serious thought. I have Oblivion and CoD2 for the PC (both of which I've started but only just, to get a feel for them).

**** it I can't go without anymore. My mobile contract is up soon, I'm getting me a core and grabbing an HD cable and a hard drive

The final straw was getting an HDTV and really wanting something to make the most of it. Plus Dead Rising sounds and looks like the best ****ing fun game for ages.
