Erm...I wouldn't trust speedtest.net it's highly unreliable.
Try downloading from http://gamefiles.blueyonder.co.uk and see what you get. Last edited by Robert; 29-05-2007 at 19:26. |

And even if it is, it's good enough for what she's meant for - an indicative, quick speed for comparison with others.

Well a test that says I have a 2mb connection yet I can download at 1.2 mb/s (which is what I SHOULD get on 10mb) is hardly reliable. Either way, each to their own.
I can go on say tonight and get a result equal to 2mb. I can then go and download at my full speed from a proper source. Sorry I guess I'm just sick of all this speedtest.net stuff. People come on the blueyonder newsgroups raving about their connection due to speedtest.net results...when it's in no way a good representative of actual speeds. I just wouldn't use it tbh. :undecided: Last edited by Robert; 29-05-2007 at 19:30. |

Not everyone has been upgraded yet - they do it region by region. Unless his region has been done..

Nope my region is scheduled to be done by the end of May, it looks like the engineering work is scheduled for tomorrow night.
