When it's in season the butcher next door makes wild boar and stilton sausages, they are the most amazing tasting sausages ever!!

I've eaten bambi but didn't think much to it. Also had baby cow which was nice.
Don't like the idea of some things but if i'm not told i'd probably like them. |

I'll eat anything. I had snails at the last France meet and they were delicious! Tried an oyster too and that too was scrummy.
I don't like mixing sweet and savoury though, yuk!

I've never tried snails, but I'd have one if offered. Oysters are gorgeous! The only thing that I've been given the chance to try and passed up on is Fois Gras at the Paris airshow this year. The fact that I'd watched how they make Fois Gras the previous week on Gordon Ramsay and my colleague being a vegetarian didn't help matters. Besides, they had something else that I really fancied instead.

Snails are like slightly chewier prawns in texture. I had them in a really meaty casseroley red wine sauce and they were heaven!
I've never had fois gras, I wouldn't know it if it hit me in the face tbh. Isn't it something to do with overfed geese?

Wooohoo more votes for snails and foie gras!
I knew you were a classy chick Pebs Foie gras is basically over fed geese or ducks - it's horrid how they do it However, I'm afraid it's absolutely delicious and I actually feel quite heartless about it and would it eat it without a second thought. I've seen it done in person, I've slaughtered cattle too, it's horrid it doesn't feel good, but it's part of the process. Force feeding, and I mean FORCE feeding ducks and geese is actually bordering on cruelty at times - but I can't help buying it (though it's well expensive innit!) certainly when I'm in France. Some luxuries come at a price - life's a bitch, but hey it tastes good along the way.

Ooh...
Rabbit, Venison, Kangaroo, Crocodile, and a few others I can't remember. Wish I could remember what the other two were that I had out in Australia (besides Kangaroo and Crocodile). |

Is it strange to eat potato salad as a snack?
Just devouring a pot of Sainsbury's potato salad that I found in the fridge.
