I also agree with Flibster about those bloody kids who walk around with their phones blaring out music. Some of them do it when they're on their own. EARPHONES??? No one wants to hear your emo tunezzz, kid.

Another thing I don't get is Art. I suspect this is more to do with my ignorance than anything else. I suppose the best way I can describe it is I can look at photo's and find them very moving and emotional. They capture a moment and a multitude of feelings and emotions. To me it's stimulating.
Yet I never feel the same urge to goto a gallery and view anything. About 8 years ago, Me & Sarah went to Paris for the weekend and did the usual tourist hot spots and inevitably we went into the Louvre and viewed The Mona Lisa. I must admit, I was very indifferent to it. And right at the other end of the scale what I really don't get are those pieces that are flecks of paint across a canvass that you would hear non arty types saying "My Six year old could do that" |

I love baseball, i subscribe to mlb's online service which is fantastic, i can watch any game at work the next day.
The thing about baseball is its all about the statistics, its fantastic, much more interesting than cricket, and you have to take your hat off to guys who go out and play 150 odd games a year. |

Baseball is one of the few sports where you can be crap and still be considered great. You only have to be successful 1/3rd of the time. Even some of the greats were only just better than 1/3rd!

Look at footballers, most teams lose at least one goal a game, does that mean goalies are considered crap for not doing their jobs? Or strikers who dont score every time, should they be considered crap? Are golfers crap for not hitting a birdie every round? Its no different to any other sport, every sport is the same. |

Golfers manage to hit the ball every single round Baseballers are more likely to get a strike than a hit, they only have to hit one third of the balls coming towards them!
I'm not being critical of the sport at all, it's just an amusing quirk of it.

Actually, I don't get why people smoke and what they get out of it? I tried it once, like you do, and nearly died.. I'm confussed by this.

I don't get why certain members of the London community feel that they are above queuing rules and push in at the bus stops.
