They say some nice stuff during the Induction that you may be pleased to hear.
For starters No matter what we are doing or who told us to do it even our Managers, If a Customer needs help then Help them, Not casually either, Don't force yourself on them but be happy to wander around the shop & show them Exactly where the item is, Also we have to make sure at the till end that the customer has got any Bonuses, Free items that they are entitled to, 2 for 1 offers where they haven't got the extra 1 sort of thing The customer Always comes first I did come out the Induction feeling nice about the place & the way they treat there customers & where they put there prioritys. |

My parents met someone on the tills at their local Tesco who they now always look out for (don't know if she's still there). Only problem is we think she got told off for laughing too loud.
Let's hope they stick by those rules with times getting a little tough. You really can't fake happy staff. |

*ponders a visit to Tesco tonight*
Glad it well dude and that everything sounds cool. When I worked at Asda I was possibly the worst employee they had, I never believed the customer was always right and as I worked in the cafe part I used to eat the food that was being cooked |

Good luck with your first shift dude
I hope you're getting some shuteye just now so you're ready for action tonight. My ex works at the new Tesco up in my home town of Lerwick and she loves it. She says they're the nicest company she's worked for and the emphasis is always on making the customer happy enough to want to come back.
