Have to admit I'm not looking forward to or am particularly interested in sparring other people, I just enjoyed the pad and air work

I can't believe that apart from central London there are no KB clubs in South East London - i.e. near my house.

You don't have to spar if you don't want to Sam

Although it is bloody fun

I agree, perhaps we've made it sound a little daunting safety and respect is very important, I found this youtube video of sparring that should give you an idea of what to expect...

(I know this is going to get some giggles or smutty replies - just know that I have already thought of them )

I have thin weak wrists - I hadn't realised this until I was hitting the pads. At the moment the RSI in my right wrist is bad and I have reduced flexibility in it; I tried just some wussy girlie pressups last night and just being in the stance without doing anything is painful.
We have a squiggy ball thing which is meant to help those muscles, just wondering if anyone else knows of something I can do.

If you're going to KBing tonight, you might want to ask for some handwraps to wear under your gloves.

I actually use my old weights gloves instead of Hand wraps, as they are easier to get on/off and offer the support I need.

Those things are great. Build up finger strength and wrist strength. I have one for building up finger strength for guitar stuff originally. Both times mum broke her wrist she's used it as part of her physio to build the strength in her wrists up. The physio at the hospital loves it and was looking at getting some for use there with patients.
