Because thats what we've always got before - when I got the first couple there weren't any "adult" covers and when they did release them I couldn't be bothered to replace the ones I had so stuck with getting the kiddy covers

Mic pointed out on the kiddy cover - the background looks very much like a stargate

Because it's a children's book?

I'm all done.

And a bit disappointed really if truth be told. I enjoyed it but I think it's one of the weakest books of the series.

I disagree with Feek (although I do feel that Ms Rowling has seen too many blood-filled blockbusters recently ).

I thought it was a very good close to the series and was very clever with references to earlier books included as well as some fantastic plot twists which closed previous storylines.

I shall no doubt read it again in a month when I get it back from the friends I lend it to tomorrow

I had to go pick up the other halfs copy of the book today.

One of the women there said "they just appeal to everyone"

My comment: Nope, cliche filled, badly written and just dull...
Then I realised that I was surrounded by lots of people weilding quite thick books.

I retreated to the comfort of a cake shop.
