*sigh*
Well I've decided to blow off the meeting tonight as it'll just be a bitching session, combined with the fact that the screwup with my post hasn't been announced yet (and I'd rather not be the one doing it) and the fact I'd be treated like a spy for management... None of which I've got the energy for...

So I'm home early(ish), gonna try and get some rest then head into work for 10am tomorrow and go to the proper Union meeting at 6pm followed by the Team meeting at 8pm...

*collapses into a heap on the bed and snores loudly*

Good call IMO - you get some rest.

*sigh*

Well after having been lain awake for an hour last night I remembered something which has scuppered my plans of not being in until 10am today...

Replacement desks are being delivered today, which means I have to clear and dismantle the desks they're replacing before they arrive...

*sigh*

Logic dictates that if I get to work at 10am they'll have been and gone and won't come back.

Logic also dictates that if I turn up at my normal time and get everything ready they won't turn up until late this afternoon.

Pheebs, how long does it take someone to go insane from lack of sleep?

You're already insane dude!

Sounds like a pickle, I'd say stay in bed and go in later.

Too late, I'm in the office already...

*gets his toolkit out and starts dismantling things*
