The West Wing is great Not watched all of them but think it's just the post Sorkin stuff that I've missed. Keep meaning to go back to it though.
Really enjoyed Studio 60 as well although it is a bit offputting knowing there's no more episodes

I don't mind the flash forwards, they make it more interesting I suppose. I think I just remember season 1 too much, where everything seemed mysterious. I liked it when the cast didn't have a clue what was going on (well, they still don't but you know what I mean), and the viewer felt like that as well.
I doubt we'll ever see brilliant endings of episodes such as this again:

As for heading in the wrong direction, the island disappearing makes up a big chunk of that. Now it was never very realistic to begin with, but that just did it.

But even from the beginning it was obvious that the explanation for smokey and the hidden status of the island was always going to be SF.

SGA
Eureka
Boston Legal
BSG
Chuck
Pushing Daises
Fringe

I'm sure I've missed 1 or 2 in there.

Edit:

Surviving Suburbia - looks like it could be fun.
Supernatural
Battlestar Galactica
Greys Anatomy
How I met Your Mother
Heroes
Dexter
Sarah Conner Chronicles
BSG
Chuck
Fringe
Life
Lost
True Blood
Reaper
House
Bones (though not for long going by the opener and what the cast have hinted at in interviews)
CSI (orginal)
The L Word

Plus one or two new shows
