Urgh, I really hate it when people don't understand that if a phone is ringing out no one is there or available to answer it. It's not that hard a concept.
On Mondays I'm getting in to work at 6am, most of the office doesn't get in until nearly 8am. Hawaii is 3 hours behind West coast time, and I think 6 behind East coast time. It's not unusual for folks to be ringing at 6am, but it seems every week I have a persistent idiot calling our office manager, and it'll continue for 5 minutes with a short break every now and then. Take a hint, she's not there, sod off and DIE! *grumble*

We all have softphones now. Most days I set mine on 'out of office' before I go home so it never even rings. Not that anyone calls me.
PS - I hate softphones. It's the headsets, not the technology - I've got an adapter at home (now rarely used but still online), and I'm also happy using Skype from my iPhone, but headsets - urgh. |

My headset in my new job is rubbish. You have to push it to your ear to hear anything.
Knew I should've kept my old one! BB x |

Blame it on the new owners! Mr Al-Fayed sold out to Dubai a few weeks ago, so it's obviously all their fault.
Well, this thread does say irrational, right? |
