It rocks there, this is the first year for about 5 years that I've not gone.

Definately! It'll need some planning though, hotels in central Munich get fully booked by about June.

Aye, booking early is a good idea. If not, small hotels on the outskirts are a more likely target. Work were able to book one for me during Oktoberfest at relatively short notice.
