Ah well, it's been a positive overall though. We have some good players coming through and have direction again. Could be worse.

And no, it wasn't a try.

Utterly robbed by shocking ref work. And that's not something I usually say. I'm usually a "water under the bridge" etc. etc. person...

Not wishing to rub more salt into the wound but I thought that was a more entertaining game than the semi-final which is about all I was hoping for, it was more involving at the very least for me. It wasn't a try but then again I've seen them given under more dubious circumstances so perhaps a little unlucky particularly after such a good break.

I did meet an Irishman out tonight who claimed that Ireland had won the WC tonight because of the ref, apparantly he was Irish and that was good enough for him to claim victory.

There were a few odd calls last night, missed obstructions and the like, but thats the game and it happens. I'm proud of the team, they played strong and hard and some fantastic rugby and can come away with their heads held high from that match

I really haven't got a clue about Rugby, but we lost, so it sucks.

Second place is the first of the losers.

I missed it, but at least it was a close match from the scores - better than 36-0!
