I was planning on going to Amsterdam in the first week of july - but my friends have pulled out so now I just have a week off of work and my holiday savings fund going spare

Lack of money, and it would only be a couple of days in amsterdam after the GMM in belgium - gonna do a full week with my best mate next spring (forward planning
)tbh, if I'm gonna do a lads holiday then I don't want to be stinking and grotty from a festival.

I really wouldn't do a full week in Amsterdam, a long weekend is normally plenty. I did a week there last September for a trade show and I'm not too sure how I didn't die. Crawling in at 4-5am and up at 7:30 to get to the show.
My GF was really worried about me when I got back as I slept for 20 hours straight and she couldn't wake me up
