Not a great deal, i suppose Trance often sounds a bit faster and bit more 'beat' based rather than 'bouncy'

Trance has rolling melodies and key changes, you don't get that in house. House is a bit more serious. Technically modern trance is house music, it's not much like the techno style trance that you used to get on the Reactivate mixes in the mid 90s.
