I had GHIII for the PS2 and had no problems with medium whatsoever. 5*'d everything and beat the bosses. Now am playing it on the 360 on medium and I've suddenly seemingly lost all coordination and talent ... anyone else found the 360 version way harder?

Yeah, that list is much more palatable. And sane for that matter - GH3's are nuts.
Any word on set lists?

Not yet, I'll post anything I find regarding it. The game is due soon so there may be a list somewhere already I've not seen yet.

As daft as it may sound, that's more Aerosmith than I was expecting

They've said in the end it'll be about 60% Aerosmith, with the rest being bands who've played with, been influenced by, or are supported by Aerosmith.

Tbh I was largely expecting just the tracks that most people are likely to know, and the rest of the music from bands related to Aerosmith. Simply because it would likely appeal to a larger audience - there are more Guitar Hero fans than there are Guitar Hero fans who are also Aerosmith super fans.
Still, if they're after a SingStar type model they have to draw the line somewhere I guess. Guitar Hero Rock... erm More Rock, Rock again etc probably wouldn't have worked
