Default Flash Git!

I purchased myself a flash today, its anything but flash but it was cheap and does E-TTL metering which is nice

The main reason I got it is that its hinged so I can bounce it and start to prevent the old red eye syndrome, £32 in Jessops so its hardly a fortune, hopefully it will help with taking pics indoors etc

Ahhh more stuff to buy, I have ordered a new 4gb CF (the old one had a few corruptions and I don't really trust it) and a bean bag as it seems like a very usefull addition and I'm not aways that steady a base for my camera.

haha there is always stuff to buy. Unless you plan on doing alot of indoor stuff now you can probably get away without one for now.

You can always make one from a plastic 35m film carton for the time being

I've since stitched the elastic and removed the safety pin.

Thats the one I saw MB, and was going to get it, but I wondering if its going to be enough for a wedding reception in low light... hmmm... better get researching.

Can we see some pics once you've had a play?

You can, no problem. I honestly don't think this will be up to professional duties and you would probably be better holding out for a Speedlite generally the reviews are average but for £32 it will certainly see me through. I'll take some shots tonight with direct flash/ bounce (I don't have a diffuser yet)

I used the template there with white card and black paper stuck to the back. Works really well actually.
