Steak!
Who is having steak today, and how are you planning on serving it?

Nah me neither, Medium-rare though possibly griller rather than pan fried which is controversial in itself. With a peppercorn or bourbon sauce depending on how sweet i'm feeling. Home thick cut wedges par boiled and oven baked once a little ruffled up with sliced onion and crushed garlic sprinkled lightly with mixed herbs, salt and pepper. With some beefy veg on the side. Nom.

Pan fried medium-rare with a little bit of herby stuff rubbed into it, served with ludicrously thick chips. Mmm. Still, I'm on a diet so I'd better limit myself to just a couple of steaks tonight.
I had a steak fried in JD + coke in Cyprus once. It was surprisingly nice but I've never been able to replicate the taste.

Couldn't get any nice juicy rump today so we made do witha frying steak sandwich.
BBQ'd rump steak is absolutely the best way to cook it though. Nice hot coals so that the outside is seared and the inside is still pink.

Oh and i didn't mention, T-Bone if i could ever sensibly afford it (so no ) Otherwise here's to hoping some kind of tenderloin/sirloin cut is available at clearance price somewhere. Or my butcher is feeling especially generous (VERY unlikely!).
