FIA GT Championship
Popped down to Silverstone today for the FIA GT Championship, mainly to get some practice in as I need it. A few snaps from the day, C&C welcome

I like the second onel, hope you don't mind but I tried to tweak it just bit to bring out the colour of the car
All good shots though, your panning is good and the shutter is set well to show the motion blur in the wheels MB

Thanks. See what you're trying to do with that pic but think it might be a tad OTT (for my tastes at least ).
One of the things I wanted to work on was the panning as I've been poor there in the past. With the exception of the Ferrari and No17 Corvette shots, the rest were all 1/200th to 1/320th and I'm quite happy with the results as I seem to have managed a decent balance of background blur and subject sharpness for the first time

Ahh I'm working downstairs and the projector exagerates things but I do think the original needs more saturation as it looks a bit pink to me. The bright sunlight doesn't help the colours from the shadow it looks like the sun was overhead or slightly in front of you for some shots. On this display the 55 car looks a bit like a 15 year old red Corolla

I absolutely love this show!
Knew I should have popped up for a few hours. Looking at the pics takes me back to last year. Awesome pics, really good since I know how fast they go!! Can you hear everything now? Or were you deafened by them? |

The full GT cars were a lot louder than we were expecting - almost up to F1 levels.
Couldn't believe how empty the place was as I've only ever been to Silverstone on an F1 GP weekend before. It's on tomorrow if you want to go - only £25 on the gate.

Yeah I know, it is normally busier on the sunday. I really wish I could, busy tomorrow though Bah.
I was really suprised the first time I went as it is Soo loud. Suprised I standed it for the full race on the sunday. I love going to look at all the cars behind the scenes as well in the tent, with everyone fixing them up after crashes. It is a great event |
