I can't avoid it anymore - Need a good Flash designer

Right, for as long as I've been involved with web design I have avoided Flash.

I've always been a believer that if you can't use it really well, its just not worth using. However I now have a uni module where I have to use it! My first task is to find a Flash designer/developer who I like and who has had things written about them and their work so that I can study them.

I don't know where to start as I've avoided this area for so long. Does anybody know of any good designers I might be able to find some information on?
