Die Hard 4.0
Man, does this film stink or what?
It already stank enough and now they made it stink harder with terrible unbelievable CGI. What a let down after Die Hards 1-3

I really like it, I actually think it's the 2nd best Die Hard film, as do most people (according to IMDB it's the 2nd highest rated Die Hard film). I really really enjoyed it personally

It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. |

The Order of Awesome goes 1, 3, 2, 4.0. Take away the name John McClane and this would have made a great standalone film. As it stands it sullies the Die Hard name. IMO of course!

I thought it was OK until Kevin Smith turned up (I don't know in advance) after that it became Teh Orsum!

Kevin Smith was great in it - and he actually plays a character for once!

Hmmm.... Although it did help that he wrote the script for that bit too. I did enjoy DH4.0 - Also depends which version you watch too. The theatrical or the unrated. I prefer the theatrical, as the unrated has so many goofs in it that it just winds me up.

I like, no where near as good as die hard 1-3. Just forget it's called die hard and watch it for what it is. Although the JSF scene is horrible and cringe-worthy.

I agree with your sentiment and ranking. That's why I purposely didn't buy the box set with 4.0 in it - it's the sort of movie that if it's on in the background it's ok to watch, or when doing the ironing or something like that, definitely not a "good" film though. Still, it's good brainless fun.
