Default I've got a hairdresser mobile

It's been a few months since my last ill-fated adventure into the World of car ownership but last weekend I purchased myself a hairdressers car, it wasn't what I originally thought I wanted but I figured that while I'm young and have no real commitments I might as well buy a silly little two seater rather than wanting to do it when I've got a need for a bigger car. However I fear this means I can no longer be taken seriously, if I ever was, by the outside World.

Apologies for the rubbish quality of the pictures but I'm a) no photographer and b) it's just a phone camera I've got. A few details if it matters, it's a 1996 car with around 160k miles on the clock, the sharper of you may have noticed that sadly it's neither a T-Bar or a turbo as my budget wouldn't stretch to that. It's got a fairly full service history although it will need another relatively soon so that's next months job I think, the aerial motor makes a noise when it goes up as although the aerial itself rises fine it seems to forget to stop winding for a minute or so for reasons unknown and the CD player doesn't work but the tape/radio do. Overall it seems in pretty good condition for a car that's almost 15 years old and it came with 1 years MOT and 6 months tax.

Excellent choice sir - and I approve of the colour too

Even the non turbo model is a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine

Cheers, I hope that it will be as good to me as yours is to you Stan. The colour is quite muted which is nice. I'm off up to Scotland next weekend so that'll be the real test of how well I get on with it but I've been enjoying it on the fairly short runs I've been doing so far.

Will, you do realise this now means I can come visit you and see your new flat/gym etc.

Very nice indeed. Though it isn't a hairdresser's car...... that didn't happen to the MR2 until the MkIII

Afraid not, now there's two of us with rather similar looking cars. His is faster than mine though.

I didn't see that part in the manual - can't imagine why they missed it out.

I'll try my best to avoid any solid stationary objects, I like the car as it is not meshed with the local scenery.

Thank you, I'm liking it so far. The MkIII is indeed a lot more hairdressery but this one's still a little bit fey.
