Default Firefox 4

I see there's an IE9 thread running. I also see there's a Firefox 4 release. Has anyone tried it?

It's my browser of choice, but I've found FF 3.6 incredibly slow and it crashes all the time on my home machine. On my work laptop it has a habit of freezing for about 10 seconds the first time you open it and I've never been able to find the cause.

I use FF4 at home and much prefer it. Found it very fast and I like the way they've condensed the menu down to give you a bit more real estate to play with.

I'm using it on Windows and OS X machines and find it loads better than 3.6 was.

Hmmm. So they've moved the tab bar to the top and the home button over to the far right. So now when I browse using the mousepad on this laptop I have to scroll all over the place, which I didn't have to do before :/

Does nobody ever try these systems out?

Change it then!

Right click on the menu bar and select customise then drag your home button to the left.

And just above customise you will see tabs on top, remove the tick to put them where they usually are

Ooo

What about the right click menu? The 'open in new tab' is now on the second line instead of the top.

Are you sure about that? It's the other way around for me. 'Open link in new tab' is first followed by 'open link in new window'
