Astroturf is satans spawn
After playing footie this evening I currently have more antiseptic on my knees than I do skin.
The pain is mildly annoying, the knitting feeling is really bugging me |

It's not all bad, I used to have a scar on my knee from when i fell off my bike as a child. Whilst playing on astroturf at uni I fell full weight onto my knee and totally skinned it, it didn't stop weeping for the best part of a week. By the time it had all healed up my original scar had gone completely

Ak. A tear in my eye thinking about it. We had short Astroturf at my school, coupled with a shorts-only school uniform rule. I don't think any of us got away without skinned knees
