Thats sad news. Wonder if any of the big car companies will buy it once it's value hits the floor :/

Can't see it happening even if it was sold for a quid. While anyone who's ever been will be aware of the revenue it generates, it must cost crazy money to run or they wouldn't be in such a bad way.
It'll be a real shame if it closes as I'm not aware of anything like it anywhere else

I looked at a trip earlier in the year and it was pretty much blocked out by manufacturers testing until about October. However, I imagine many of those will drop it like a hot coal if it goes to the wall. After all, if it goes bust, there'll be no petrolheads taking their newly bought motors their to drive around it, no petrolheads taking their cars there means no interest in how fast a car can go around it. So why bother testing a production model there? You may as well test at Spa, or Laguna Seca or whatever. If you cannot go there and drive it, it doesn't matter how fast your new motor can get around it. It becomes meaningless.

It'll be a shame to lose it, mind. A truely historic circuit.

It's a shame it's not a financial institution because it would have had loads of money chucked at it to keep it running.
