Eeek!
Err, so it seems I've just agreed to my first solo wedding shoot!
The missus' cousin so it's in the family but still rather nerve wracking. Not until July though so have time to prepare. Dee - I need more practice!! ;p

When and where for my shoot? - Bovey Castle in Dartmoor National Park in Devon at the end of July.
More than happy to accompany you on some more events - just give me a shout to let me know

Also, whilst I'm now fairly confident of my technical ability in actually taking the shots, what I need to concentrate on more is what shots to take, settings and so forth. It's easy as the second 'tog as I don't have to worry about missing crucial shots or organising group pics but of course that'll be down to me this time.
I need to pay more attention to what you're doing when organising people and shots when I'm out with you next time, rather than just buzzing around aimlessly

From a participant's pov I agree. Knowing how to position people and how to get them to stand and pose is almost as important as knowing how to frame the photo and click the button.
Good luck with it BB x |

Well the day came and went on Friday.
OMG I was sooo knackered by the end of the day. Overall pretty happy with how it went although I've missed a few shots which I didn't realise until I was going through them all. Nothing critical thankfully but just the "damn, wish I'd..." feelings. Much more stressful than second shooting with Dee I must say but probably just panicking trying to remember everything which I normally don't have to worry about and because it's the first time I've had that responsibility. Will put some shots up when I've finished processing them and got a final set, and once the B&G have got/seen them of course
